The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laukkanen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick from Laukkanen lands but Mvungi takes it in his stride.

It looks like Jonathan Mvungi has been cut.
Mvungi throws a series of punches but Laukkanen avoids them all with ease.
Laukkanen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Laukkanen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mvungi takes a swing at Laukkanen's ribcage but misses.
Mvungi misses with a double jab
and Laukkanen counters with an outside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Laukkanen, right into the meat.
A combination from Mvungi does no damage.
Mvungi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mvungi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Laukkanen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mvungi tries to clinch up but Laukkanen circles away and keeps his distance.
Laukkanen bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Laukkanen lands with a slapping head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Laukkanen slips under a jab from Mvungi.
Laukkanen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Mvungi is rocked!
Laukkanen closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Mvungi out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
