The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onizuka lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Grupe is looking to clinch but Onizuka is avoiding it.
Onizuka avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Grupe scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Onizuka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Onizuka with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Grupe to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Eikichi Onizuka has been cut.
Grupe takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A cross from Grupe lands.
Onizuka throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Grupe tries to clinch but Onizuka moves out of range.
Onizuka takes a swing at Grupe's ribcage but misses.
Grupe drops Onizuka with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Onizuka! Grupe dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Norbert Grupe opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
