The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braga looking to score a takedown here. Ki Duk is defending well but Braga drives through and ends up in Ki Duk's guard.
Braga is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ki Duk is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ki Duk has escaped and now he's on top!
Ki Duk wants to pass the guard but Braga is keeping the position.
Ki Duk wants to stand but Braga is controlling his posture from full guard.
Ki Duk wants to control from the top but Braga keeps moving.
Braga looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ki Duk puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Ki Duk wants to stand up but Braga is controlling the position.
Braga is trying to maintain the position but Ki Duk is very close to passing his half guard.
Braga is pressing down on Ki Duk's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ki Duk is sitting in close to Braga's body. Braga has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ki Duk is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ki Duk is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Braga.

Henderson Braga decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
