Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rude's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gunslinger. Halo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I am a Nightmare Walking kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Gabriel Halo has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gabriel Halo!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude fails to land with a series of punches.
Halo throws a leg kick
and Rude counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Halo takes a swing at Rude's ribcage but misses.
Rude jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Halo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Halo misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Rude counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Halo is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rude misses the shot to the body.

Rude tries a low kick but Halo avoids it.
Halo scores with a head kick. Rude tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Rude throws an overhand right that lands on Halo's shoulder, as Halo tries to avoid the shot.

Rude moves out of range of the strikes.

Halo throws a poor cross that misses
and Rude counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Halo takes one on the button.
The fighters circling - Halo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Rude lands a left and a right that send Halo crashing to the mat, dazed. Rude thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Halo is rocked!

It looks like Gabriel Halo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Halo is aggressively charging in as Rude backs up avoiding any damage. Rude tosses out a jab and Halo runs right into it face first! Halo is out cold! Rude dropped down on all fours and is barking in Halo's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dominic Rude!
