The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons fails to land the takedown.
Winnfield misses with a series of wild punches.
Lyons dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Lyons gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Winnfield.
Lyons misses with some punches.

Lyons jumps guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lyons not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyons has a closed guard, preventing Winnfield from standing up.

Lyons has his foot on Winnfield's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Winnfield works his way back into a safe position though.
Lyons tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Winnfield wants to stand but Lyons is controlling his posture from full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Lyons is looking to sinch up a triangle. Winnfield throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lyons's body to avoid the submission. Lyons has instead reached around Winnfield's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lyons arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
