Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Young Buck - Loose My Mind kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones misses with a low kick as Shields jumps back.
Shields just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Shields counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shields dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!

No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
Nick Shields has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Jones.

Shields scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jones doesn't seem bothered though.

Jones is trying desperately to land a takedown but Shields is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jones.

Shields connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Jones covering up! Shields comes in with a big uppercut and Jones goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
