Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tom Bielawski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bielawski comes to the cage accompanied by The Last of the Mohican. Ron Paul has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ron Paul!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paul feints and as Bielawski raises his hands in defense, Paul changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Paul slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Paul goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bielawski rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Paul's guard! Nice work there by Bielawski!

With the fighters up against the cage, Paul throws an elbow but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Bielawski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Paul drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bielawski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Paul has Bielawski in his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Paul has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
