Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Krukowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Cooke!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kevin Krukowski!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Krukowski misses its intended target.
Krukowski cracks Cooke with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Cooke shoots for a takedown but Krukowski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Krukowski misses with an uppercut

and Cooke counters with a takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Krukowski is trying to control Cooke's posture but Cooke avoids it.
The strikes coming from Cooke are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Krukowski holds on to Cooke's head and controls the position momentarily.
Cooke creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Krukowski sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Cooke remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Cooke connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Krukowski some visible discomfort.
You can see the frustration on Krukowski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Krukowski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cooke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cooke's back!

Let's hope that Krukowski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Krukowski has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cooke is working away from the top position though.

Cooke closes the distance and clinches up with Krukowski, looking for a takedown. Cooke pushes Krukowski against the cage but Krukowski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The crowd cheers as Krukowski lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cooke doesn't seem phased though.

Cooke looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Krukowski is fending him off so far but Cooke persists. Nope, Krukowski circles away and we're back to standing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cooke's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Krukowski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cooke scrambles back to his feet.

Oh Cooke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cooke throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Krukowski thuds his shin into the meat of Cooke's side.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Krukowski cracks Cooke with an uppercut from hell and Cooke crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Krukowski's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Krukowski postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Cooke's head off the mat! Cooke is out! He's out! Krukowski jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kevin Krukowski! Kevin Krukowski retains his heavyweight title!
During a confident post fight interview, Kevin Krukowski thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
