Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Luger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Sirkiä (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luger comes to the cage accompanied by Right Here, Right Now - Fatboy Slim. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sirkiä's choice of entrance music: Thergothon - Elemental. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Shane Luger!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Niko Sirkiä!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luger misses with a hook. Sirkiä ducked under it nicely.
Sirkiä checks the leg kick.
Luger throws the kick towards the body but Sirkiä avoids it.
Luger scores with a sloppy right hand. Sirkiä should have avoided that one.

Sirkiä closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Luger's guard.

Sirkiä gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Luger counters with a nice body kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sirkiä crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Luger - the referee stops the clock and Sirkiä gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Luger. Sirkiä manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Sirkiä takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Luger throws a front kick that sends Sirkiä stumbling back into the cage.

Sirkiä changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luger tries to avoid it but Sirkiä manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luger to the ground. Luger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That kick from Luger tenderised Sirkiä's leg. Sirkiä is trying to keep his angry face on.

A close third round but Niko Sirkiä just about did enough to take it.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Shane Luger will probably get the nod.
