A fine choice. Jackson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. LIVING IN AMERICA BY JAMES BROWN kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson.
Apollo Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jackson throws out a leg kick but Rendziok moves out of range and Jackson only half commits.
Jackson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rendziok. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rendziok doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rendziok manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rendziok accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
