The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berzevaco displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ward.

Ward shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Berzevaco manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Berzevaco uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Berzevaco plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Berzevaco thuds his shin into the meat of Ward's side.

Berzevaco lands a head kick. Ward smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ward throws a right and a left that Berzevaco avoids nicely.
Ward fails with the takedown.

Ward shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Caccane Berzevaco has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Ward.
Ward tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Berzevaco was well out of range. Poor timing from Ward.
Ward closes the distance but Berzevaco moves to the side
and Berzevaco counters with a head kick. That will keep Ward thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Berzevaco connects with a solid leg kick.
Ward shoots in and drives through. Berzevaco sprawls well.
Berzevaco stuffs the takedown.
The fighters circle, before Berzevaco throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Ward's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Berzevaco lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
