The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ijima shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Domine throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ijima changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Domine tries to avoid it but Ijima manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Domine to the ground. Domine escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A punch combination from Domine misses.

Ijima drives through with a takedown into Domine's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Domine is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ijima slips nicely into half guard.

Ijima has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Domine is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ijima yanks on the arm and Domine is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ijima.
