Jane kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rick James - Mary Jane. Mary Jane could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ten Sixteen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sixteen looks to land a right hand but Jane moved out of range.
Sixteen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jane throws out a powerful jab.

enabling Jane to counter with a crisp jab.

Sixteen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jane.

Sixteen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sixteen tries to free his leg and advance position but Jane is retaining full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ten Sixteen wasn't active enough on the ground.

Sixteen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jane to the ground. Sixteen is now in Jane's guard.
Jane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jane is keen to just control but Sixteen is a slippery customer.

Jane postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Sixteen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Sixteen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
