PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Prcko Strcko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strcko's entrance music is Destiny Childs - Soldier. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prcko Strcko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis doesn't manage to clinch there - Strcko circles away.
Lewis swings for the body but Strcko moves out of range.
Strcko shoots in looking for a takedown. Lewis tries to sprawl out of it but Strcko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lewis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Strcko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Strcko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Strcko scoring with strikes but Lewis is staying in there.
Lewis is working to get back to half guard.
Strcko throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Lewis tries to lock up and control but Strcko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Strcko with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Strcko has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lewis's face.
Strcko tries to control but Lewis wriggling away.
Strcko throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Lewis wants to control but Strcko is having none of it.
Strcko lands a big elbow.

Strcko cracks Lewis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Strcko is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lewis has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lewis tries to reverse the position but Strcko maintains control.
Lewis is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Strcko thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Strcko controlling from mount.
Strcko throws a strike there. Lewis manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Lewis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Strcko.
Strcko is nestled in close to Lewis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Lewis regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Strcko.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Strcko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Strcko engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Strcko pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lewis is keeping the position for now.

Strcko drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Strcko jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Strcko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Strcko content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Strcko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Prcko Strcko dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Lewis closes the distance looking to clinch
and Strcko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lewis throws a big shot that misses.

Lewis lands a left and a right that send Strcko crashing to the mat, dazed. Lewis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Strcko is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis moves in close and cracks Strcko with a massive right hand! Strcko, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Lewis!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ray Lewis!
Ray Lewis decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
