The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson cracks Tahuna with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Tahuna throws a series of punches but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tahuna looks to land a left hand but Jackson moved out of range nicely.
Tahuna throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jackson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tahuna looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tahuna tries to land a front kick but Jackson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jackson throws a lazy right hand but Tahuna sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tahuna misses with a jab, cross combination.

Tahuna takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Good leg kick by Tahuna there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Jackson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jackson lands a really nice looking cross but Tahuna seems unphased.

Tahuna moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Jackson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tahuna connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jackson scrambles back to his feet.

Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tahuna's head backwards.

A looping hook to the body misses from Tahuna. Jackson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tahuna throws a head kick that half lands.
Jackson lands a jab to Tahuna's midsection.
Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Jackson gets through Tahuna's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Tahuna wants to take the fight to the mat but Jackson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eka Tahuna. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jackson moves in looking to clinch but Tahuna pushes him off.

Tahuna lands a big head kick that sends Jackson tumbling to the mat! Tahuna takes a step backwards and waves Jackson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Tahuna Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Jackson is out cold, face down on the mat!
