PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sasuke Uchiha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uchiha tries to keep at a distance but Rampage has taken the fight into the clinch.

Uchiha jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rampage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Uchiha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rampage has managed to get both his arms back between Uchiha's legs - danger averted.
Uchiha controls Rampage momentarily but Rampage frees himself.
Rampage working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Uchiha's head.
Uchiha thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Uchiha is looking for a triangle but Rampage pushes his legs off easily.
Rampage looking to pass the guard.

Uchiha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rampage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Uchiha has his foot on Rampage's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rampage works his way back into a safe position though.

Uchiha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rampage gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rampage keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Uchiha's head.
Uchiha is breathing heavily.
Rampage postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Uchiha keeping moving, preventing Rampage from controlling successfully.

Rampage is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Rampage is working Uchiha over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Uchiha really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rampage content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Rampage wants to control from the top but Uchiha keeps moving.

Uchiha is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rampage is aware though and is defending well.
Uchiha wants to sweep but no luck.
Rampage trying to control but Uchiha is working from the bottom.
Rampage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Uchiha wants to stand up but Rampage is controlling him.
Rampage with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Rampage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Uchiha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rampage trying to control but Uchiha is working from the bottom.

Uchiha looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rampage postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Rampage wanted to stand there but Uchiha had control of the position.

Rampage stands up from Uchiha's guard - Rampage perhaps looking for a knockout.
Rampage throws a right and a left that Uchiha avoids nicely.
A right-left combo lands from Rampage.
Some wild striking there from Rampage.
Uchiha shoots in for a takedown but Rampage shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rampage connects with a crisp jab.
Uchiha bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Rampage comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Uchiha falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Uchiha was out before he hit the floor!
