The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berwick tries for a takedown but Elric sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Elric has Berwick up against the cage in a clinch.
Elric scores with a shot to the side of Berwick's head.
Berwick is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Elric controlling the action here for a moment.
Berwick wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Elric stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Elric lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Sean Berwick has been cut.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Elric as Berwick tries to tie him up.

Berwick tries for a takedown. No joy.
Elric lands an elbow just above Berwick 's eye.

Elric breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Elric tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Berwick was well out of range. Poor timing from Elric.
Berwick misses with a takedown attempt - Elric sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Edward Elric has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Berwick.

Elric cracks Berwick with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Elric has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Berwick to stand back up!

Elric lands a leg kick that knocks Berwick off balance momentarily.
