Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Konrad Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koltun comes to the cage accompanied by Hans Solo - Dopoki jestem. Dingdown has chosen Baggy Trousers as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Konrad Koltun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Dingdown!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingdown throws a head kick that misses.
Koltun misses with a takedown attempt - Dingdown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dingdown throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Koltun throws a series of punches but Dingdown avoids them all with ease.
Koltun with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Koltun just misses with a punch to the body.
Dingdown connects with a high kick.
Koltun scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Koltun changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dingdown tries to avoid it but Koltun manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dingdown to the ground. Dingdown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Koltun wants to clinch up but Dingdown keeps it at a distance.
Dingdown walks into a left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Dingdown counters with a nice uppercut.
Dingdown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Koltun.
Koltun stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Dingdown throws a series of punches but Koltun moves out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Koltun.
Dingdown thows a body shot but no joy.
Dingdown scores with a head kick.
Dingdown blocks the body kick.
Dingdown misses with a wild combination.
Koltun swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dingdown counters with a nice low kick that buckles Koltun's knee momentarily.

Dingdown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dingdown swings for the body but Koltun moves out of range.
Dingdown takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Koltun misses with a lunging right hand
and Dingdown counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Koltun is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dingdown sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Konrad Koltun. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dingdown lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Koltun at a distance.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Koltun is trying to control the action in half guard but Dingdown is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Koltun stops Dingdown from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Konrad Koltun will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Koltun throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dingdown was covering up waiting for the punch and Koltun finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Koltun is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Koltun accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Koltun stays in close to Dingdown's body and controls the position.
Dingdown tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Koltun cracks Dingdown with a solid left hand.
Koltun stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dingdown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Koltun seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Konrad Koltun wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Dingdown throws a sloppy head kick and Koltun moves out of range easily.
Dingdown misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dingdown rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koltun moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Koltun is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dingdown's half guard.
Koltun is looking to take a break and control but Dingdown is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Koltun uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dingdown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Koltun to score with a decent uppercut.
