Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ground Guru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kesuke Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guru comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park - Burning In The Skies. Miyagi has chosen Your'e The Best Around as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kesuke Miyagi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ground Guru!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kesuke Miyagi!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miyagi clinches.

Guru drops back looking for a leg! Miyagi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Miyagi manages to kick Guru off! Guru jumps back into Miyagi's guard.

Guru drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Miyagi dives on top into guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Miyagi enables Guru to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miyagi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Guru throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Miyagi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Guru is in Miyagi's guard.

Guru got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miyagi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guru has managed to get both his arms back between Miyagi's legs - danger averted.

and Miyagi counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Guru dives in and grabs Miyagi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Miyagi pushes down on Guru's head and hops out.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Miyagi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Guru has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Guru and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Guru fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Miyagi sprawls well initially but Guru persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Miyagi is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell?

Guru is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guru accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
