Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Maia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yang Xinhai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xinhai has chosen Loco as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Xinhai scores with a four punch combination!
Maia avoids the body shot from Xinhai.
Xinhai throws a head kick that misses.
Xinhai lands a big head kick that sends Maia tumbling to the mat! Xinhai takes a step backwards and waves Maia back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Maia is rocked!
It looks like Fernando Maia has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice defenses there by Xinhai.
Oh Maia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Xinhai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Maia takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Maia misses with a hook.
Xinhai lands with a nice body kick.
Xinhai throws a sloppy head kick and Maia moves out of range easily.
Xinhai lands a nice looking body kick.
Xinhai connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Maia momentarily.
BOOM! Xinhai lands a beautiful left hook that drops Maia. Maia tries to recover but Xinhai is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Maia lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yang Xinhai!
