Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuri Boyka told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yuri Boyka!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyka takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Baggins looks to land a left hand but Boyka moved out of range nicely.
Boyka takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Boyka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Boyka forces Baggins back against the cage and clinches.
Baggins lands a shot to the body.
Baggins working aggressively here.
Boyka is trying to break the clinch but Baggins has him pressed against the cage.
Baggins blocks a body shot from Boyka.
A short right from Baggins on the inside.
Baggins misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Baggins pushes Boyka back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Baggins throws a punch but it's blocked by Boyka.

Boyka's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Baggins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boyka.
The fighters circling - Baggins throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Boyka has taken the fight to the clinch.
Boyka manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Boyka blocks an elbow strike from Baggins.

Boyka using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Baggins has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Baggins creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Baggins just misses with a elbow thrown towards Boyka's brow.

Baggins pushes Boyka back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Baggins creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Boyka! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Baggins.
