Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Granite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bones Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Granite's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Brokencyde - Get Crunk. Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gimme back my bullets kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Granite jabs Jones right on the nose. Jones blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Bones Jones has been cut.
Granite shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Granite to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones looking to hit a scissor sweep but Granite is one step ahead there.
Jones wants to improve his position but instead Granite has moved into half guard.
Granite perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Granite is working away from the top position though.
Granite throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Granite seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jones is trying to stand up here but Granite is controlling him well.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jones lands a nice short elbow.
Granite has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Granite's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Jones is holding on here and Granite must be using up a lot of energy. Jones has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Granite gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
