Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Jonson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonson throws a head kick but Tucker moves out of range.
Tucker on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Jonson tries to clinch but Tucker is having none of it.
Jonson throws a nice looking combination but Tucker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Jonson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jonson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tucker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tucker throws an elbow but it misses.
Tucker lands a good knee to the midsection. Jonson won't want to take too many of those.
Jonson wants to get back to striking at distance but Tucker won't allow it.

Tucker will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jonson up against the cage.

Jonson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tucker walks away with a smile on his face. Jonson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jonson throws a series of punches but Tucker avoids them all with ease.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jonson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Tucker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Jonson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Tucker uses from the top position.

Tucker wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Jonson's closed guard. He's half up but Jonson has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Jonson pivots and extends the arm, Tucker falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Jonson! Well done that man!

Jon Jonson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
