The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walter shoots in looking for a takedown but Enter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Walter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Enter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Walter somewhat.
Enter thuds a left hand into Walter's body.
Enter connects with a leg kick. Walter looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Enter looks to land a combination but Walter avoids it well.
Ship Enter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Enter misses with a body shot

and Walter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Enter is looking for a sweep. Walter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Enter throws a hook to the side of Walter's head but Walter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Walter shoots in but Enter avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ship Enter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stephan Walter.
