Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bada Bing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Silverhielm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bing's entrance music is Metallica - All Nightmare Long. A fine choice. Silverhielm has chosen Theme Tune to Islam as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bada Bing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Pierre Silverhielm!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverhielm throws a low kick, looking for Bing's leg but Bing calmly moves out of range.
A slow jab from Bing misses its intended target.
Silverhielm connects with a solid leg kick.
Silverhielm gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Silverhielm connects with a solid leg kick.
Silverhielm tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bing is able to avoid easily.
Bing misses with an uppercut. Silverhielm saw that one coming.
Silverhielm blocks a jab.
Bing throws the left hand but Silverhielm avoids the punch easily.
Silverhielm slips a straight right by Bing.
Bing checks a leg kick.
Silverhielm misses with a low kick.
Silverhielm throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Bing looks to throw the jab but Silverhielm is out of range.

Bing paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Some wild striking there from Silverhielm.
Good leg kick by Silverhielm there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Silverhielm has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Silverhielm there as he acknowledges the shot.
Bing fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Silverhielm misses with a low kick.
Pierre Silverhielm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bing throws a poor cross that misses
and Silverhielm counters with a good low kick that Bing was not able to check.
Silverhielm misses with a wild body shot.
Silverhielm ducks right into an uppercut from Bing.

Bing misses the shot to the body.
Silverhielm scores with the left hand. Bing knows he should have avoided that one.
Bing is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Silverhielm throws out a leg kick but Bing moves out of range and Silverhielm only half commits.
Silverhielm misses with a shot to the body
and Bing counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silverhielm avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bing throws a jab but it's blocked by Silverhielm.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silverhielm tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Bing counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Silverhielm is trying to stand up here but Bing is controlling him well.
Silverhielm holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bing in particular looking to stall.
Silverhielm tries to get to full guard but Bing has control of the leg.
Silverhielm has a hand on Bing's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bing takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Bing controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silverhielm wants to get back to his feet but Bing passes into half guard.

Bing seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silverhielm is controlling Bing's trapped leg to prevent Bing from advancing to side control.

Bing looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silverhielm takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round but I would say that Bada Bing will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Silverhielm tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bing was well out of range. Poor timing from Silverhielm.

and Bing counters with a nice uppercut.
Silverhielm tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bing manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Silverhielm buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bing keeps the fight on the outside.
Nice jab there from Silverhielm.
Silverhielm fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bing looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Silverhielm, right into the meat.
Bing scores with a crisp jab that stopped Silverhielm in his tracks.
Silverhielm moves in looking to clinch but Bing pushes him off.
Silverhielm misses with a low kick.
Silverhielm bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Silverhielm thumps Bing with a low kick.
Silverhielm wants to slow Bing down by chopping away at his legs.
Silverhielm is looking to clinch but Bing is avoiding it.
Bing is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Silverhielm looks to score with a jab to the body but Bing is just out of range.
Silverhielm throws a low kick, looking for Bing's leg but Bing calmly moves out of range.
Bing takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bing throws an overhand right that lands on Silverhielm's shoulder, as Silverhielm tries to avoid the shot.
Bing throws a looping overhand right but Silverhielm ducks down to avoid it.

Silverhielm throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bing takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silverhielm tries to stall but Bing uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Bing dodges an elbow strike from Silverhielm.
Bing jumps guard but Silverhielm stands there with Bing around his waist. Bing gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Silverhielm keeps control of Bing as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

and Silverhielm connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silverhielm bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pierre Silverhielm seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Silverhielm doesn't manage to clinch there - Bing circles away.
Bing takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bing throws a hook to the side of Silverhielm's head but Silverhielm sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silverhielm thows a left - swing and a miss!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bing is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silverhielm.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pierre Silverhielm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Bing looks to throw the jab but Silverhielm is out of range.
Bing takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bing throws the left hand but Silverhielm avoids the punch easily.
Good work by Bing as he checks the leg kick.
Bing misses with a few strikes there.
Silverhielm connects with a leg kick. Bing looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bing just misses with a punch to the body.
Silverhielm misses with a low kick.
Pierre Silverhielm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silverhielm uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bing.

Silverhielm throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Bing's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Silverhielm dives in looking to finish as Bing flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Silverhielm's strikes! Silverhielm is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Bing's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Bing was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pierre Silverhielm!
In his post fight interview, Pierre Silverhielm gave a big smile as he said '9/11 was the start of the next Jihad. Don't let it be completed people.'.
