Brandao is looking to land body kicks.
Pearmine tries for a takedown but Brandao circles away easily

and Brandao counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pearmine's guard now.
Brandao won't allow Pearmine to get back to his feet.

Brandao thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Brandao trying to control but Pearmine is working from the bottom.
Brandao throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Pearmine wants to improve his position but instead Brandao has moved into half guard.

Brandao looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Brandao has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Pearmine defend it? Brandao steps over the head and cranks it - Pearmine is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Brandao!
