Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tim Horton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Desbatailles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Tim Horton has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tim Horton seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desbatailles throws a leg kick which misses Horton's front leg but catches the back leg as Horton tries to avoid it.
Desbatailles stuffs the takedown attempt from Horton. Horton gets slowly back to his feet.
Horton avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Horton checks a low kick from Desbatailles .
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Desbatailles .

Horton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Horton is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Desbatailles has escaped the position, nice work there.
Desbatailles is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Desbatailles is trying to control Horton's posture but Horton avoids it.
Horton wants to control but Desbatailles is keeping him busy.

Horton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Desbatailles , who protects the arm well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
