The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirty ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Dirty closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Poirier quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Poirier keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Dirty tries to pass the half guard into mount. Poirier knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dirty lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Poirier pushes Dirty off looking to stand but Dirty dives back in and keeps control.
Poirier makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Poirier.
Poirier is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dirty is controlling him.

Dirty arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Poirier's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
