Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Dessler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dresden Carmichael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carmichael has chosen Nelly - Just A Dream as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmichael is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dessler.
Carmichael misses with a two punch combination.
Dessler misses with a low kick.
Dessler bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Carmichael walks into a stiff left hand from Dessler.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Carmichael lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dessler circles away quickly and effectively.

Dessler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Carmichael looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Carmichael stalks Dessler and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dessler's face. Dessler staggers backwards, shaken.

Dessler has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dresden Carmichael is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Dessler decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Carmichael's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
