Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chronic shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gerous pinned against the cage. Gerous gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gerous throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chronic .
Gerous looks for a takedown but Chronic sprawls well.

Chronic fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gerous to the ground. Chronic is now in Gerous's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Gerous looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chronic is one step ahead there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chronic takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Gerous is pressing down on Chronic 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Gerous throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chronic escapes and throws Gerous's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Chronic working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gerous drives through with a takedown into Chronic 's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Chronic had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gerous defends it easily.

Chronic looking for a guillotine here but Gerous defends easily.

Chronic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gerous doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gerous manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Chronic is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gerous rolls with it to try and escape but Chronic cranks on the arm and Gerous is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
