The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andersen tries to avoid it but Moreno manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andersen to the ground. Andersen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Andersen tries to clinch up but Moreno circles away and keeps his distance.
Moreno tries to score a power double leg takedown but Andersen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moreno somewhat.
Moreno connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moreno connects with a nice short shot to Andersen's temple.

Andersen is pushing Moreno's head away, looking to escape. Moreno manages to hold on to the position though.
Andersen tries to buck Moreno off but Moreno is having none of it.

Moreno has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
