PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Radomir Jareszczuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McClane might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Refuse/Resist. Radomir Jareszczuk acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John McClane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Radomir Jareszczuk!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClane scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jareszczuk shoots in looking for a takedown but McClane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jareszczuk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
McClane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jareszczuk's hands.
McClane scores with a nice strike.
McClane scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Nice shot by McClane.
Jareszczuk misses with a low kick.
A jab from McClane does it's job there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jareszczuk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jareszczuk is looking to stall here but McClane recovers full guard.
Jareszczuk wants to control from the top but McClane keeps moving.
Jareszczuk is fighting to break McClane's control of his arms but McClane is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jareszczuk won't allow McClane to get back to his feet.
Jareszczuk throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because John McClane just wasn't active enough.
McClane throws a front kick that sends Jareszczuk stumbling back into the cage.
McClane lands the left hand.
McClane fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jareszczuk looks for a takedown but McClane sprawls well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McClane lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McClane connects with a leg kick. Jareszczuk looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
McClane lands with a hook. Jareszczuk tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
McClane connects with a right hand. Jareszczuk shakes it off.
Jareszczuk tries for a takedown but McClane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
John McClane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Radomir Jareszczuk.
Jareszczuk doesn't manage to clinch there - McClane circles away.
Jareszczuk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McClane paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jareszczuk shoots in for a takedown but McClane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jareszczuk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McClane tries to avoid it but Jareszczuk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McClane to the ground. McClane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jareszczuk looks winded!
McClane displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
McClane lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
McClane works Jareszczuk's body with a nice hook.
John McClane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McClane uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jareszczuk has time to react.
A jab lands there for McClane.
Jareszczuk takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.


Jareszczuk is rocked!

McClane cracks Jareszczuk with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McClane has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jareszczuk to stand back up!
Jareszczuk is still on wobbly legs! Can McClane finish him?

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McClane lands a jab to Jareszczuk's midsection.
McClane lands with a big right hook that stumbles Jareszczuk - he's out on his feet here! McClane follows up with another monster hook that separates Jareszczuk from consciousness! Jareszczuk falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! McClane stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John McClane!
