The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Becker checks a low kick from Barros.
Becker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barros closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barros lands in his opponent's guard.
Barros avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Barros lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Barros is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Barros keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Becker's head.
Barros is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Becker wants to sweep here but Barros controlling him for the moment.
Barros is sitting in close to Becker's body. Becker has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Barros is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Barros is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Becker.

Boris Becker spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
