Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Valerio Bertoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sayid Jarrah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valerio Bertoto had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Valerio Bertoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sayid Jarrah!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bertoto shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jarrah but Jarrah pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jarrah dives in and grabs Bertoto's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bertoto pushes down on Jarrah's head and hops out.
Bertoto circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Bertoto counters with a shoot takedown. Jarrah fights it but they end up in guard.
Jarrah seems keen to control Bertoto's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bertoto postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jarrah is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bertoto, into his guard.

Jarrah got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bertoto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jarrah has managed to get both his arms back between Bertoto's legs - danger averted.
Bertoto wants to sweep but no luck.

Jarrah looks to land a combination but Bertoto avoids it well.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jarrah is defended easily by Bertoto.

Bertoto closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jarrah's guard.
Bertoto slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Bertoto drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jarrah dives on top into guard.

Bertoto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jarrah defends it easily.

Bertoto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jarrah doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jarrah manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jarrah throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bertoto was covering up waiting for the punch and Jarrah finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bertoto isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jarrah stacks Bertoto on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jarrah!

Jarrah has an Americana. Bertoto didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jarrah is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jarrah hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
