Halo comes to the cage accompanied by Squeeze 1st-Jay-Z. Lundeby has chosen Casino Royal 007 Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo throws a hook but Lundeby avoids it easily.
Michael Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halo throws a looping overhand right but Lundeby ducks down to avoid it.
Lundeby shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Halo sprawls well. Halo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lundeby gets slowly back to his feet.
Halo looks to throw a body kick
and Lundeby counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Lundeby tried to score with a low kick but Halo checks it.
A big right from Halo misses.
Halo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Halo thows a body shot but no joy.
A solid leg kick lands there for Halo.
A chopping leg kick lands by Halo.
Lundeby takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Halo misses.
Halo throws a front kick aimed at Lundeby's knee but Lundeby avoids it well.
Lundeby checks a low kick from Halo.

Lundeby bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Lundeby is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Halo's half guard.
Lundeby is pressing down on Halo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Halo is holding on for now.
Halo has hold of Lundeby's hands but Lundeby slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lundeby throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Lundeby wants to lay and pray for a moment but Halo keeps working.
Lundeby uses his free foot to push down on Halo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Halo.
Lundeby prevents Halo from getting the reversal.

Lundeby cracks Halo with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Halo regains half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Halo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lundeby thows a huge punch but Halo dodges it nicely.
Halo has hold of Lundeby's hands but Lundeby slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Halo wants to improve his position but Lundeby is controlling well.
Lundeby has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like Lundeby is going to stand back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Lundeby lands with a punch from half guard.
Lundeby wants to stand up but Halo is controlling the position.
Lundeby scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Lundeby is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

After the fight, Basil Lundeby was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
