Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan comes to the cage accompanied by Real American. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

With a record of 21 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vince Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon throws a chopping leg kick but Hogan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Dixon has Hogan pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dixon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hogan tumbling to the mat - Dixon dives into Hogan's guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dixon lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dixon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Vince Dixon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Dixon moves in looking to clinch but Hogan pushes him off.

Dixon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Dixon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hogan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dixon shoots in and drives through. Hogan sprawls well.
Hogan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hogan wants it to stay on the feet.
Dixon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hogan.
Dixon buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Dixon connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hogan. Hogan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hogan blocks a head kick by Dixon.
Hogan throws a good cross that connects.
Dixon throws a leg kick that misses.
Dixon tries to close the distance and clinch but Hogan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vince Dixon seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Dixon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dixon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Dixon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hogan is fending him off so far but Dixon persists. Nope, Hogan circles away and we're back to standing.
Hulk Hogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vince Dixon.
Dixon motions for Hogan to come forward. Dixon throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Hogan dips a shoulder and cracks Dixon with a mighty uppercut! Dixon falls back against the cage and Hogan unloads with a barrage of strikes! Dixon is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Hogan screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hulk Hogan!
Hulk Hogan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
