The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Cierra makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

and Cierra counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cierra does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cierra blocks a head kick by Baramari.
Baramari takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cierra fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Cierra closes the distance and pushes Baramari back into the cage.
Cierra gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Cierra connects with a knee to the head.
Cierra connects with a nasty looking knee right to Baramari's face.
Cierra tries a knee to the head but Baramari blocks it.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Baramari has a couple of punches blocked by Cierra.

Cierra drops Baramari onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Baramari is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Oh Baramari is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cierra throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Baramari stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cierra lands a brutal head kick. Baramari looks out on his feet and Cierra throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

After the fight, Carlos Cierra was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
