Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chilli Parlma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abu Zayd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Parlma counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Zayd tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Parlma just stands there and leans against the cage.

Parlma feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Zayds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Parlma breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Zayd shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Parlma manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Zayd stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Parlma throws up his legs and catches Zayd in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Zayd tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Parlma! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Chilli Parlma!
A relieved looking Chilli Parlma thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
