The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concreto checks a leg kick.

Concreto drives through and clinches with Thesz against the cage.

Thesz wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Aloysius Martin Thesz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Concreto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thesz takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Aloysius Martin Thesz has been cut.
Thesz scores with a spinning back kick!
Concreto lands with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Concreto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Concreto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Thesz tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Concreto is able to avoid easily.

Concreto rushes Thesz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Thesz gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Thesz trying to control but Concreto is working from the bottom.
Concreto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thesz on the ground.
Thesz in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Concreto on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Concreto tries to get out of the position.

Thesz pushes down on Concreto's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Thesz with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Thesz works his way into side control.

Thesz is working to tighten is grip on Concreto's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Concreto has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Thesz is really squeezing tight and eventually Concreto passes out! Thesz breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

A relieved looking Aloysius Martin Thesz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
