Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Host looks to land a combination but Lonely avoids it well.
Lonely connects with a solid leg kick.
Host has Lonely up against the cage in a clinch.
Host is pushing Lonely up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Lonely has Host pressed against the cage, preventing Host from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lonely blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Host pulls guard effortlessly.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lonely thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lonely throwing strikes but missing.
Lonely throws a big right hand that misses.
Lonely won't allow Host to sweep him here.
Lonely lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lonely is looking to work some ground and pound but Host has wrist control.
Host keeping moving, preventing Lonely from controlling successfully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lonely trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Host looks winded!
Lonely is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lonely throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Host works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lonely advances position into side control!
Host really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lonely. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lonely controls the position.
Lonely has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Host is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lonely yanks on the arm and Host is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lonely.
