The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes throws a looping overhand right but Repooc ducks down to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref stands the fighters back up because Manuel Reyes just wasn't active enough.

Reyes shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Reyes showed some decent athleticism there.

Reyes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Repooc is just riding it out for now. Reyes eventually gives up the hold.
Repooc is staying active underneath Reyes, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Reyes working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Repooc turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Reyes off and cradles Repooc's limp body as Reyes celebrates with his corner.
