Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Vondrachek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Mountain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mountain is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by kuningas. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Vondrachek. Mountain does a little dance to reset his feet.

Mountain drops Vondrachek with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vondrachek looks back up at him and smiles so Mountain waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Vondrachek is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mountain feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Vondrachek sprawling to the canvas! Vondrachek rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mountain finish him?!

Vondrachek closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Vondrachek seems to have got his legs back now.
Vondrachek seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mountain does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Vondrachek is looking to take a break and control but Mountain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vondrachek crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mountain - the referee stops the clock and Vondrachek gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mountain. Vondrachek manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Vondrachek takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Vondrachek looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Vondrachek looks up at the clock. Bad move! Mountain lands a right hand from hell, dropping Vondrachek. Mountain pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

During a confident post fight interview, Jari Mountain thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
