Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Djamel Hammouche!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hammouche will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hammouche pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hammouche avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hammouche fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Drago has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Drago misses with a double jab
and Hammouche counters with a leg kick.
Hammouche swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Drago connects with a crisp jab.
Drago gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Hammouche lands a nice leg kick that just misses Drago's sensitive parts.

Hammouche throws a leg kick which misses Drago's front leg but catches the back leg as Drago tries to avoid it.
Hammouche tests Drago's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Hammouche jabs Drago right on the nose. Drago blinks but takes it well.

Drago throws a nice looking combination but Hammouche bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nice uppercut lands for Hammouche. That snapped Drago's head back.

Hammouche feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dragos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hammouche.
Hammouche prevents Drago from escaping the position.
Hammouche has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hammouche takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Drago is squirming around, avoiding Hammouche's attempts to control the action.

Hammouche sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Hammouche wants to take his opponent's back but Drago doesn't allow it.

Hammouche can't control as he wanted to and Drago manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Drago pushes Hammouche off looking to stand but Hammouche dives back in and keeps control.
Hammouche tries to pass the half guard into mount. Drago knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Hammouche has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hammouche fails to advance to Drago's back.
Drago trying desperately to get to his feet.
Drago knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hammouche on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hammouche content just to control the position here.
You get the feeling that Drago really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Djamel Hammouche dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Drago throws a hook but Hammouche avoids it easily.
Drago jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Drago takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Drago, as that shot connected.
Djamel Hammouche seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Drago on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That kick from Hammouche tenderised Drago's leg. Drago is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Drago lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hammouche circles away quickly and effectively.
Drago leaves Hammouche with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Drago takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Hammouche lands a big head kick that sends Drago tumbling to the mat! Hammouche takes a step backwards and waves Drago back to his feet - he wants the finish!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Drago crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hammouche - the referee stops the clock and Drago gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hammouche. Drago manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hammouche darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Drago is rocked!
A nice leg kick lands there from Hammouche.
Oh Drago is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hammouche connects with a stiff jab that staggers Drago - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
