Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Russell Pumbu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Slippin. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pumbu fails with the takedown
and Hammer counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Russell Pumbu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pumbu is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hammer's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pumbu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hammer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pumbu has Hammer in his guard.

Well Hammer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
