Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Waldemir Warzecha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Eduardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Eduardo's choice of entrance music: Darude - Sandstorm. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Eduardo!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eduardo throws a leg kick but Warzecha checks it.

Warzecha shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Eduardo is trying to defend but Warzecha finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eduardo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Warzecha is looking to take a break and control but Eduardo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Warzecha is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Eduardo is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Warzecha goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Eduardo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Warzecha but great work by Eduardo.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Warzecha has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Eduardo.
Eduardo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Warzecha.

Eduardo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Warzecha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eduardo tries to avoid it but Warzecha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eduardo to the ground. Eduardo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Eduardo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Warzecha checks it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warzecha is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Warzecha shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Eduardo as he jumps to the side.

Warzecha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eduardo's waist but Eduardo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Warzecha off to one side.

Warzecha misses with a takedown attempt - Eduardo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Paulo Eduardo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Eduardo has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
