The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavarez tries to clinch but Kuusivirta moves out of range.
Pavarez closes the distance but Kuusivirta moves to the side
and Kuusivirta counters with a single leg into guard. Pavarez didn't expect that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pavarez wants to get back to his feet but Kuusivirta is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Pavarez wants to stand and escape but Kuusivirta is having none of it.
