The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Parlma counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Renato Lita has been cut.

Parlma is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Lita's half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Lita wants to control but Parlma is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Lita pushes Parlma off looking to stand but Parlma dives back in and keeps control.
Parlma wants to pass the guard but Lita is defending well.
