PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mr Planet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Planet comes to the cage accompanied by 2001. The crowd seem to be enjoying Marshall's choice of entrance music: John Lennon - Working Class Hero. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Planet takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Planet misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Planet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Planet takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Marshall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Marshall keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Planet darts in and clinches Marshall up against the cage.
Planet tries to circle away but Marshall has him pinned against the cage.
Marshall lands a nice shot to the body.
Marshall lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Marshall lands with a right to the head.
Marshall can't find room to land a body shot as Planet controls the action.

Planet manages to break the clinch.
Marshall scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Planet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marshall paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Planet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A lazy left from Marshall finds it's target.
Marshall grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Planet takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Marshall cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
