Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kupke De Vries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Vries has chosen Decibel Ending! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Caine.
Caine looks for a takedown but De Vries sprawls well.
De Vries displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Caine throws out the jab.
Caine ducks down and throws a hook to the body but De Vries moves away.
Caine throws a wild body kick that De Vries sees coming a mile off.
De Vries missing with a left hand there. Caine was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Caine throws a nice inside leg kick.
De Vries misses with a kick to the body
and Caine counters with a solid body kick.
De Vries uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Caine.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Horrible takedown by Caine or perhaps it was just good defense by De Vries which made him look bad.
Caiaphas Caine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caine keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

De Vries takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Nice sprawl there from De Vries as Caine shoots in.

Caine shoots in looking for a takedown. De Vries tries to sprawl out of it but Caine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. De Vries manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Caine throws an uppercut from half a mile away. De Vries sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Caine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Caine dives in and grabs De Vries's left leg, looking for a takedown. De Vries pushes down on Caine's head and hops out.
De Vries takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
De Vries lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Good leg kick by De Vries there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Caine connects with the punch.
Caine swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by De Vries.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as De Vries checks a leg kick.

Caine tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but De Vries was well out of range. Poor timing from Caine.

De Vries slips under a jab.
De Vries buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
De Vries misses with a body kick.
Caine moves forwards but De Vries connects with a nice, crisp jab.

That kick from De Vries tenderised Caine's leg. Caine is trying to keep his angry face on.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Caine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Vries, pushing him back against the cage.

Caine drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

De Vries wanted to stand there but Caine had control of the position.
De Vries seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Caiaphas Caine will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

After winning the bout, Kupke De Vries thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
