Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seppo Kastinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Sturd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sturd is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by DMX - Wright or Wrong. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Sturd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kastinen dives in and scores a takedown into Sturd's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kastinen wants to control from the top but Sturd keeps moving.
Kastinen wants to pass the guard but Sturd is keeping the position.
Sturd seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Kastinen passes Sturd's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kastinen is working for a submission of some sort.
Kastinen is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Sturd reverses the position - he's now on top in Kastinen's guard.

Kastinen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kastinen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sturd controls the pace.

Kastinen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Sturd was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Kastinen tries for a takedown but Sturd sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kastinen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sturd's half guard.

Kastinen is looking for a kimura but Sturd is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kastinen to get the leverage.
Kastinen is looking to take a break and control but Sturd is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kastinen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sturd sees it coming and defends easily.
Sturd is refusing to be controlled, as Kastinen sits in half guard.
Sturd gets back to full guard.

Kastinen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sturd swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sturd looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Let's hope that Sturd has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kastinen wants to control from the top but Sturd keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jason Sturd hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kastinen misses with a jab, cross combination.
A punch combination from Kastinen misses.
Kastinen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sturd counters with a thumping low kick.

and Sturd makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kastinen really felt that one!
Kastinen is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sturd scores with a kick to the midsection.
Sturd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kastinen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jason Sturd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sturd scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Sturd counters with a crisp one two that drops Kastinen! Sturd thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kastinen to his feet! Kastinen is in big trouble!

Sturd darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Kastinen's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Sturd before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
